Dr. Courtney H. Williams, PH.D.

About Me

I have over 5 years of experience working with individuals, couples and groups representing a variety of populations who sought help with concerns ranging from common to complex. Most of my clients are experiencing some form of stuckness and receive help with clarity and forward movement out of inner-pain and turmoil and towards relief, clarity, and a deeper understanding of self.

I draw from research-supported Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I help clients foster inner flexibility, which strengthens their ability to remain steady and confident in their coping when faced with challenges.

I pride myself in working with you to gain both deeper self-understanding and tangible solution-focused skills that create an inner soundness in times where life feels like just the opposite (unstable, unpredictable, uncertain).

I believe therapy is a skill-focused yet flexible dance where we use the relationship and your personhood in the room to unlock new-found inner and outward connection to yourself and others. In doing this, our time will equip you with the insight needed to maintain mental wellness beyond the therapy space.
